These sensational drop style clip on earrings, have a faux coral cabochon (polished gemstone) at the ear, a carved bead at the centre, with a dangling tear drop bead at the end.  All set in rich gold tone. Very glamorous indeed and in perfect unworn vintage condition. Signed Barrera for AVON.

DESIGNER HISTORY -  In 1886 the AVON company, originally named the 'The California Perfume Company', was created by David H McConnell.  Selling perfume and toiletries door to door, the company grew steadily through the years enabling AVON to become the leading cosmetics and toiletries company in the world. Throughout the following decades, many well known jewellery designers and celebrities have designed jewellery collections for the AVON company and their jewellery has become the focus of many AVON jewellery collectors of today.  The many beautiful collections included designs by Jose Maria Barrera.
